Are these lights safe to install on drywall about two feet below the ceiling. I have concerns that the halogen will burn too hot if left on for 5-6 hours?

A. The Meyda Tiffany 69053 halogen bulbs do get hot but as long as they do not come in direct contact they will be fine. Two feet is plenty of room for the bulb, halogen provides a very nice bright warm light. Issues arise when halogen bulbs come in direct contact with draperies or upholstery.

Does this work with a standard 4" junction box?

A. The Meyda Tiffany 69053 wall sconce is designed to fit to a standard 3-1/2" to 4" junction box. It does not matter if it is round or square.

Spectacular Sconce! My electrician just finished installing the sconce. It fits perfectly in the selected spot and blends well with the rest of my living room decor--which is a (hopefully-tasteful) mix of modern, nautical, traditional and colonial! Even my husband likes the sconce. Phew! Great lighting for a great price. Thanks! May 31, 2008

absolutely beautiful These wall torchierres are perfect! I couldn't believe the price, as I've seen similar quality elsewhere for upwards of $300.00, but I couldn't have asked for more in these! I was worried that they wouldn't fit into my decor because of the description "rustic, country" but these are so versatile, and would go with pretty much any style decor. Mine is ecclectic, with a contemporary rustic edge, and they look FANTASTIC! This product is a steal! March 6, 2008

Meyda Lighting warrants your product to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for five years. If you discover a defect in our product we will, at our option, repair using new components or, if repair is not possible, replace the fixture.

Exclusions: This warranty covers defects in manufacturing while using the product as recommended by the manufacturer. The warranty does not cover loss or theft, nor does coverage extend to damage caused by misuse, abuse, unauthorized modification, improper storage conditions, lightning or natural disaster. The warranty does not cover parts that are subject to normal wear and tear replacement such as sockets.
