  • Is there a color difference in the oil rubbed bronze between the one with the wilshire glass and the one without? The pictures seem to indicate that they are different. Which picture best represents the color of the oil rubbed bronze?

    A. oil rubbed bronze is darker in color, it would be the darker one with the wilshire glass. The color will have a little more variation in the finish and not look so flat like in the picture

  • can this fixture be mounted either way up or down?

    A. The Maxim MX 11182 can be mounted up or down.

very nice fixture This replaced a 1970's cheap fixture that was mounted off center. It was no problem to mount this one where it needed to be visually. The wires from the supply box and the internal wires were connected within the space between the backing plate and the front of the fixture. The backing plate was screwed to the wall so that the fixture covered the supply box at one end. With the backing plate, you can drill the mounting holes wherever you want. Looks great! June 23, 2011
Gorgeous Out of all the different light fixtures my Lady and I looked at (home depot, lowes, ace hardward) these were the only ones we found that matched the remodel we did to our master bath. We now have a brand new bathroom and it is GORGEOUS. May 6, 2011
Classy, good quality yet inexpensive We just got this bathroon light bar installed - looks wonderful and matches the colors and the design of our bathroom!! Suggestion: it would be nice to have a power outlet/socket in that bar as well. November 14, 2010

Maxim Warranty

With the exceptions listed below, Maxim Lighting International products are warranted to be free of defects in material and workmanship for ONE YEAR from date of shipment. The exceptions are:

The CounterMax™ MX-L LED Under Cabinet Lighting 87902WT/SA/MB, 87904WT/SA/MB, and 87906WT/SA/MB will be warranted for normal use for 25 years while the original purchaser owns it. Normal use means residential non-commercial use for no more than 6 hours per day in an environment that does not exceed 77°F.

The CounterMax™ MX-X12 Xenon Under Cabinet Lighting 87849WT/MB, 87851WT/MB, 87852WT/MB, 87853WT/MB, 87859WT/MB, 87861WT/MB, 87862WT/MB, 87863WT/MB will be warranted for normal use for 15 years while the original purchaser owns it. Normal use means residential non-commercial use for no more than 6 hours per day in an environment that does not exceed 77°F.

All Vivex™ outdoor fixtures will be warranted for normal use for 3 years while the original purchaser owns it.

Maxim Lighting International will, at its election, repair, replace or make appropriate adjustment where Maxim Lighting International inspection discloses any such defects occurring in normal usage within one (1) year after date of shipment. Maxim Lighting International is not responsible for removal or installation costs. This warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the product only and that Maxim Lighting International is not responsible for any labor incurred. Use of incorrect installation methods and/or bulb wattage will void the warranty.
