    A. The Maxim 8013MR has a Oil Rubbed Bronze finish. It will be a very dark finish, but it will have some bronze tones showing through.

  • What does medium base bulbs mean? Can you use lower wattage bulbs?

    A. Medium base refers to way the bulb attaches to the fixture. Medium base is the standard bulb that screws into the fixture. The Maxim 8013R can use up to 100 watt max bulbs, but you can use any lower wattage under 100.

  • At what spot on the base does this light mount to the wall? My electrical connection is off center from my sink. Will this light be adjustable?

    A. The Maxim 8013MR backplate measures 24" x about 4" & the electrical connection is run through the center of it & unfortunately it cannot be adjusted.

  • How are the globes attached and can I use ones that I already have?

    A. There are set screws that attach the globe and fix it in place.

Cheap and some rust The two sets I received had rust marks on them, which are quite disappointing. They are cheap, but I didn't expect anything amazing. The globes are also too washed out and cheaply glazed. I do not recommend this product as I think you will be disappointed. January 3, 2011
Good Value Lighting This was a very good valued item, easy to install, even the older wall molys lined from the old makeup style lighting from years gone by lined up. We installed four of these lights in two bathrooms and with the bright white CFL bulbs, they are a great compromise over lighting costing double the price. December 15, 2010

Maxim Warranty

With the exceptions listed below, Maxim Lighting International products are warranted to be free of defects in material and workmanship for ONE YEAR from date of shipment. The exceptions are:

The CounterMax™ MX-L LED Under Cabinet Lighting 87902WT/SA/MB, 87904WT/SA/MB, and 87906WT/SA/MB will be warranted for normal use for 25 years while the original purchaser owns it. Normal use means residential non-commercial use for no more than 6 hours per day in an environment that does not exceed 77°F.

The CounterMax™ MX-X12 Xenon Under Cabinet Lighting 87849WT/MB, 87851WT/MB, 87852WT/MB, 87853WT/MB, 87859WT/MB, 87861WT/MB, 87862WT/MB, 87863WT/MB will be warranted for normal use for 15 years while the original purchaser owns it. Normal use means residential non-commercial use for no more than 6 hours per day in an environment that does not exceed 77°F.

All Vivex™ outdoor fixtures will be warranted for normal use for 3 years while the original purchaser owns it.

Maxim Lighting International will, at its election, repair, replace or make appropriate adjustment where Maxim Lighting International inspection discloses any such defects occurring in normal usage within one (1) year after date of shipment. Maxim Lighting International is not responsible for removal or installation costs. This warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the product only and that Maxim Lighting International is not responsible for any labor incurred. Use of incorrect installation methods and/or bulb wattage will void the warranty.
