Perfect for my desk
I needed a light that reaches over my work space and that can be directed to the work space or the wall for indirect light. This works out perfectly. It comes with a heavy base or a vise-like desk attachment. Both work fine. I like the bright, white light, too.

An excellent lamp
An excellent lamp which provides me the flexibility and brightness I was looking for, especially when reading with my bookstand. The heavy solid base offers the maximum stability without toppling over.

Good Lamp
This lamp is pretty good and it does not emit much heat. However, I didn't like the cool white bulb that came with it. I invested some money to get the warm white so my office does not feel like a hospital room.

GREAT DESK LAMP
WE REALLY LIKE THE LIGHT AND LOOK OF THIS LAMP AND THE FLUORESCENT BULB AT OUR WORKSTATION. UNFORTUNATELY THE FIRST ONE SHIPPED TO US WAS DAMAMGED. LIGHTING DIRECT HANDLED THE CRISIS SO SMOOTHLY. IN A FEW DAYS WE HAD A REPLACEMENT AND IT WAS PERFECT!

flexible desk lamp
Besides its low energy consumption and visually pleasing soft light, this lamp offers a sleek, modern design and very flexible double-articulated arm. Additionally, the head swivels and the shade rotates, allowing an endless number of configurations. Although mostly made of plastic, the base is very heavily weighted, making this unit extremely stable. It is a bit pricey for the materials used but its many features and striking appearance make it a worthwhile choice. The lamp comes with a detachable base and a vise clamp for both types of installation. My lamp arrived with a cracked base; but when I asked for a replacement base, Lite Source sent me a complete second lamp at no charge. That's customer service!
