Great light
One person said he could see the fixture and bulb fom the side and it almost stopped me from buying the fixture. I'm glad I took the chance anyway. I had no difficulty slding the glass in place nor could I see much of the bulb at all, even when really looking at it from the side. It throws some nice light on the wall both up and down, looks sleek and clean. Just ordered two more now that I saw what it was in person.

Fantastic!
This is such a great light fixture. Gives off a great amount of light with such a small bulb. Easy to install and a great price!!! I would buy again and/or recommend it to anyone. Great choice - very stylish.

Nice Light!
I have 2 of these installed on opposite pillars between the kitchen and living room. They were easy to install, and look great. Very modern looking.
I have a few issues with them which is why I docked a star.
1. The glass is a little difficult to slide into place, although with some practice it gets easier
2. The glass does't secure, it kind of floats on the metal supports, so this does mean that if its knocked even slightly, the glass will move to one side.
3. I wish the glass covered more of the light. By that I mean, by standing at 90 degrees to the light, you can see the bulb and fixture as clear as day. Maybe its more prominent for me as they are on pillars. I can only imagine this was a design compromise as the glass would be even more difficult to slide into place then!
Those minor gripes aside, I think they look fantastic.

Since I will be retiring and thus moving to my condo in FL soon, I've decided to take with me the two very expensive modern Italian sconces that I had on my wall. To replace them, I purchased two cheap ones. After replacing them, guess what? The cheap ones look much better than the fancy Italian ones. Now I don't know what to do....
These are cheap sconces that look GREAT on the wall. I'd recommend them for those who appreciate contemporary (minimalist) style like me and don't want to pay an exorbitant amount of $ for modern European sconces.

This light looks fantastic! Love the shadows it creates on the wall at night. Looks like an expensive light.

Good light for small areas
This light can work very well in small settings were alot of light is not required. The price of the fixture is a major consideration and it is a very nice looking fixture.
