What is the width of the large Kovacs GKp472? Does it use a regular light bulb?

What are the dimensions? Can these be used in the bathroom?
A. The Kovacs GK P472 is 11" tall, 16" wide and extends 7" from the wall. The fixture can be used in a bathroom but is not rated for damp locations, so if the bathroom has a shower that puts of daily steam that could effect the finish and internal electronics within the fixture over time.

Poor Quality
Looks good on the wall but the arms are a bit bent out of the box. I guess you get what you pay for...

Consider carefully
This fixture needs to be installed at eye-level. The sockets are switched and the finish does not match the bronze of the metal work, thus, unsightly when viewed from below.

Great customer svc and beautiful lighting
WIthout hesitation I would recommend LightingDirect. Their customer service is fast and efficient. The fixture was awesome - one small idea would be for the manufacturer to place all piping seams at the back of shade along with the main seam at the corner, thus allowing the front of the shade to remain flawless.

HUGE Disappointment
We special ordered (code for non-returnable) this fixture through the local lighing specialist, that works with our builder, for a high end half bath. It should have been an eye-catcher but instead it is an eye-sore. What you can't see in the picture is that the light sockets behind the shade are a cheap black plastic and have lamp type switches protruding from the sides of the sockets. These are VERY visible when the light is mounted on the wall. In addition, the recepticles on the shade do not slide all of the way down onto the socket so the shade doesn't sit properly on the fixture. I'm stuck with it for now and will be totally embarrased to have my guests use the bathroom until I can replace it. It was the first George Kovacs fixture I've ever purchased and it will probably be my last.
