How do you change the bulb? We broke our last one trying to change it. This is our second one because of it. Other than that we love it.

A. The Kovacs GK P4440 has 2 dimmer switches that control either light. The dimmer switch can turn off one light completely while the other light is still lit. So the dimmer switches control each light as if it is separate from the other.

Excellent problem solver
I used this light to replace a cordless reading light, which was not reliable. Not only can I plug this in, it has a cord cover and two independent lamps with dimmer control. How good is that! It is an attractive and contemporary design.

Love this lamp!
Hubby didn't think we needed a reading lamp over the bed, but now he uses it more than I do. We love the unobtrusive, slim structure and the cord cover to keep things neat. The lights are controlled separately, dimmable and you can aim them whereever needed. Point them toward the wall & they are great for mood lighting too.

excellent reading light
Just as described, includes the cord cover piece. Easy & quick install. Ability to adjust the brightness from base (instead of at bulb) is great. Looks very good over a dark wood headboard.

Good, but...
Like the lamp. Excellent for reading and has dimmer, too.
Easy to adjust with gooseneck connection on both lamps. Not good at complex directions so I had to have someone put it up. Also, the bar across, holding both lamps is a bit off center.

Great!!!!!
Bought this for over my son's bed to make it easier to read bedtime stories. Has been great. Arms make the lights adjustable. Halogen bulbs are bright and white so that reading even dark print on dark pages is easy. Loved it so much that I am now ordering one for over my own bed.
