Several questions: 1) We anticipate installing a straight line rather than curved. Any problems? Or is the style available in a non-bendable version? 2) Our purpose is to wash/highlight art on a wall. Ceilings are 8 ft, and lamps would need to throw light 4-6 ft away. Suitable system for this?

Very Nice
I am very happy with the lighting set. It looks fantastic. It was a little difficult to get the bends uniform, so definitely use a trash can or other round item for a template. Only slight negative is that the bulbs produce a light that is slightly pink. I don’t think this is the shade, but I am interested to see if other replacement bulbs have the same color.

Fixture looks Great
I saw the same track lighting system in a builders model home. The designer pulled it up on Lighting Direct & I ordered it for my home.
Great price when compared to the similar lights at Lowes/Home Depot.
I installed the fixture myself in about 1 hour. (including reading the directions.) Installation was easy. I used a Weber grill to bend the track for even curves. Looks great in the kitchen. The only down side is finding a pendant light to match.
I was a little disappointed that it said in-stock but twice shipping was delayed. But, they did send email notifications with the new ship dates.
Overall I will use Lighting Direct in the future.
