    A. Chris, undercabinet lights are not made to be used with a dimmer switch.

    A. The Kichler 12303 is a Energy efficent fixture and use's less energy for the LED Lights use less watts.

  • Are these light fixtures accessible for hard wiring in the middle/center of the rear of the light? Or only on the ends?

    A. The Kichler 12303 is power sources are only at the end of the light.

Functional 12" Six Light Under Cabinet Light from the Design Pro Series Collection 5 5 4 4
Kichler LED under cabinet counter lighting Best under cabinet counter lighting that I have seen. My wife thinks they are great. We had puck LED lighting in our last home and there is no comparison, the Kichler lighting is superior. The 6 LED lights on the bar provide an excellent light distribution over the entire counter. We installed one bar under each cabinet. With the optional three position dimmer, you can go from a bright light for cooking to a very nice night light that provides enough light to maneuver in the kitchen for snacks. With the Kichler proprietary plug-in wiring, installation was easy; however, if you are not comfortable with running an electrical line to the optional transformer you might consider purchasing the optional plug in transformer or engage an electrician to install the power line to the transformer. Since the lighting system is installed with the Kichler wiring that is sold in a limited number of lengths, you will need to take the extra time to precisely layout the light placements and the wire lengths needed to go from the transformer to the light switch and then to connect the lights serially. The wiring connections are male to female and the transformer allows you to start with either a male or female connection. You will need to take this into consideration for determining the wire lengths you will need. May 10, 2011

Under Cabinet LED Lights For me, the Kichler LED Design Pro LED lights were worth the cost. Low Profile, lights don't get hot, and there's plenty of light. The high/medium/low switch is enough to set the lights as needed, though would have preferred to have a switch on the wall rather than under the cabinets. I used 18"+12" fixtures to light up 45" of countertop that gets used the most, and an 18" fixture + 1 puck LED for a 30" countertop. Another fixture can easily be added later if more light is needed. One downside is that the interconnect cables have about a 1" plug on the ends. Since I ran the cable thru the cabinets to get around the stove, that meant making bigger holes than I would have liked. Determining the minimum cable lengths was dependent on where I put the fixtures, and I wasn't sure of that until I saw how the lights looked. February 1, 2010
Nice LED lighting! Nice quality light with a very slim profile. LED lights are still a little stark, but geting much better. Great for some additional kitchen lighting. December 21, 2009

Warranty and Limitations

Aside from the exceptions noted below, Seller warrants the Products it provides will be free from defects in material and workmanship for 1 (one) year following the date of shipment.

The exceptions are: The exterior finish on LifeBrite outdoor lanterns, which have lifetime warranties for as long as the original purchaser owns it. Energy Star® prodcuts have a two year warrenty. There are no warranties on light bulbs. There are no warranties on the finish on outdoor polished brass products. The Design Pro Series™ LED Cabinet Light models; # 12301BRZ, 12301NI, 12301WH,12303BRZ, 12303NI, 12303WH, 12305BRZ, 12305NI, and 12305WH will be warranted for normal use for as long as the original purchaser owns it.

Normal use means residential non-commercial use for no more than 6 hours per day in an environment that does not exceed 25 degrees Celsius.

If any of the warranted Products are found by Seller to be defective, such Products will, at Seller’s option, be replaced or repaired at Seller’s cost.  The parties hereto expressly agree that Buyer’s sole and exclusive remedy against the Seller shall be for the repair or replacement of defective Products as provided herein, or, at Seller’s sole option, Seller may refund the purchase price of the Products to the original credit card.

This warranty does not cover labor or other costs or expenses to remove or install any defective, repaired or replaced Product. Seller’s warranty does not apply to any Products that have been subjected to misuse, mishandling, misapplication, neglect (including but not limited to improper maintenance), accident, improper installation, improper packaging of products returned to Kichler, modification (including but not limited to use of unauthorized parts or attachments), or adjustment or repair.

At Seller’s request, Buyer will send F.O.B. destination any allegedly defective parts or Products to the plant designated by Seller.

This warranty is not transferable whether to heirs, subsequent owners, or otherwise. No affirmation of Seller, by words or action, other than as set forth herein shall constitute a warranty.

THE FOREGOING WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED INCLUDING THOSE OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR INFRINGEMENT. BUYER SHALL IN NO EVENT BE ENTITLED TO, AND SELLER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY NATURE, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, TO LOSS OF PROFIT, PROMOTIONAL AND/OR MANUFACTURING EXPENSES, OVERHEAD, INJURY TO REPUTATION AND/OR LOSS OF CUSTOMERS.
