great value
This was an inexpensive floor lamp but doesn't look it. I needed a torchiere and there weren't many out there that I liked that fit in with my transitional decor. The only negative - the compact flourescent bulb could be seen above the top of the shade, so I switched it for an old-fashioned bulb. I haven't looked; perhaps there's a different kind of cf bulb out there, or will be in the future.
