Hydra Floor Lamp with White Drum Shade 2 5 1 1

Rather Disappointed I submitted my order for this lamp in February and never received it until June. Unfortunately, I am not totally pleased but it seems to be the best I could find for the awkward place where it needs to go -- thus, I will not be returning it. However, the drum-type shade is really too large at the top and makes the lamp look top heavy. The upper arm appears on the photo to be thicker and substantial, but, in reality, it's actually 2 thin rods which simply appear in the photo to be thicker. With a thicker upper arm, I think the shade wouldn't look quite so wierd. I plan to shop for a different shade, but the bulb socket is so large and strange that I don't know how I'll find another shade to fit. This should be interesting. :-( July 16, 2010
