Three Speed Ceiling Fan / Light Universal Wall Control 1 1
I almost gave this a 4 because unfortunately a couple items need to be mentioned that I did not notice when ordering 5 of these (with 5 fans as well). 1. This unit requires a 12v battery which does not come with the controller. 2. The instructions were sort of vague but essentially, this is a remote-type controller!. That is, there is a master switch on the control (wall unit - needed of course). Then the other buttons are operable only when a battery is in place. A person could actually unsnap the controller out and with battery in, you could use as a remote. It's an interesting design. I have yet to get all "5" of the controllers installed, but I am confident this will do the job in this old house. May 12, 2011
