    A. The Hunter 23979 is resistant to tarnish, rust, and scratches. It has a UL listing for damp locations, which are sheltered outdoor areas that are protected from direct contact with rain, etc. Most of our outdoor fans are UL listed for damp locations. This fan would be a great choice!

Nice but not what we wanted We returned this item as we did not like the looks of the all plastic blades. We ordered another fan from you with what we thought was better looking blades (not as cheap looking). There was nothing wrong with the fan other than we could not see what the blades looked like on the web. Once we received it, we decided that it was not the look we were going for. October 18, 2010
