Not bad and then some I took my lead from the previous reviews and bought the light thinking that it might be OK. It is now installed and I have to say it is really wonderful. I considered buying another for the other side of the bed, but it is so powerful that I really don't need it. One negative if you can say that is the heat that is generated from the light when it is at it's max. You don't really need it all the way up or you can point it away and diffuse it and it still illuminates very well. Well worth the trouble. I also recommend having an electrician install it for it to be exactly where you want it. May 3, 2009
nice quality Good materials. Great dimmer (the light has a smooth range between very dim and VERY bright), no buzzing or flickering. The lamp head (the rounded shade part) was a bit bigger than I expected, but overall a high-quality piece. November 26, 2007
