Product Reviews

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good but Some Flaws It's a nice graceful light at a good price. The transformer is a cube and too thick to fit behind a painting that goes flat on the wall. It needs a flat transformer. We purchased another transformer. The light is ok for a very small painting but does not provide an even light for a broad enough space.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from tricky light I've looked for quite a while and tried various picture lights. I wanted one that would go on the back of the painting, not the wall. I also wanted halogen or tungsten....not LED at a reasonable price so my options were limited. I like the minimalist look of these lights. they are rather flimsy but who cares once they're up. However, they are very tricky to get the light bulb in and if you have to ever change it, be sure to keep the allen key that came with it. ....you have to take the shade off to do it. But, all that being said, I still think they work well.....the 50 watts (110v)bulbs were too bright and i had to get 20. i have two lights on a large painting (48x 72) and 100 watts at night was just too bright....Overall, i'm happy ....just be prepared for a little aggro installing them....i had my electrician do them. Also, Lighting Direct was a pleasure to deal with.
