Product Reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Holding up in a tough environment We've bought four of these lights in total, three of them two years ago and one just recently. These lights are installed in a commercial environment, at the entrances to a condominium community pool. The condo is located on Longboat Key an island in southern Florida. These lights are exposed to high heat, humidity, salt spray from the gulf, and chemical outgassing from the pool. If they were going to have a problem, this environment would have exposed it by now. The lights have been bulletproof reliable. The finish is holding up, they don't leak, they don't cause any trouble at all. We'd highly recommend them without reservation. The only warning we'd give an installer is to be careful not to set the screws too tight when attaching the top of the fixture. When the time comes to replace a burned out bulb, the part of the screw assembly you grip will come off the shaft if the original installer set them too tight. The problem can be corrected by using your own stainless steel screws. We'd like to see the manufacturer address this one shortcoming, but it's not a deal breaker.
