Great look; difficult to change expensive bulb My wife and I really like to look of these lights and installed them in our remodeled bathroom last summer (Summer 2010). They achieved the style that we were going for. The downside of these is that they are difficult to change light bulbs in an out, and they seemed to burn out the bulbs rather quickly. Some of the bulbs (a G9 size - which are about $6 each to replace!) were difficult to install in the unit once it was on the wall, because you have to give it some good pressure, and I felt like I was going to push the light right off the wall! When some the bulbs went out (who knows if it was bad bulb, bad unit, or too much adjusting to get the bulb to fit into the unit) It was cumbersome to get up on the ladder, try to reach my hand down in there, unscrew the glass cap, then use the little metal tool to unscrew the porcelein hold, THEN pull out the light bulb. Reverse process, and you're in for a battle. That being said, I love the way they look when they all are working and have bulbs in them. We currently have 2 of the 4 in operation because I have put off the chore of replacing bulbs. July 24, 2011
Great deal These lights are beautiful. Just had them installed and they were perfect for our bathroom. The little halogen lights are very bright (was initially concerned) and the price was incredible for this look. Extremely happy w/ my purchase! June 25, 2010
