How long is the hose?

Is it stainless steel? I have a hose, what shower mount bracket would fit on the 1/2" pipe from the wall?

Is the spray patterns and face of the shower head the exact same as the 28 897? (only difference is the back- flat vs rounded). What is the difference between the 28 897 and 28 793E?
A. The first difference between the 28 897 and 28 793E is that the 28 793E is from the Water Care series, meaning it's an eco friendly, low flow option with a flow output of 1.5 gpm vs. the standard 2.0 gpm of the 28 897 and other standard shower heads. Also, the 28 793E is only available in chrome whereas the other comes in a variety of finishes. Another difference (more to do with the price diff) is that the 28 897 has five spray patterns as the other only has three spray patterns.

A fine hand held shower head
This hand shower works very well, and with the twist-free rotaflex metal hose, is easy to use and should hopefully last for a long time. As part of an all-Grohe shower set we put in, we didn't try to do an ultra-luxe installation as some do, but definitely feel that we got quality products which should wear very well and also look good. Our plumber recommended them, they work very well so far (a month or so old at this point) and knowing the quality of material and parts as well as the solid feel of most things (there is some chrome plastic used for exterior parts) everything is to our liking and we expect to be using them for a long time. This hand shower in particular is good for us, as the head isn't as large as some of the others, but looks nice with the rest of our shower parts and also works really well. Several sprays, although basic "rain" is what we use almost all the time.

Residential Products
GROHE provides the following warranties on its products to the original purchaser, installed in a residential application. This warranty is effective for all faucets sold after January 1, 1997.
Mechanical Warranty
A Limited Lifetime Warranty is provided on all mechanical parts to be free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for as long as the original purchaser owns their home.
General Finish Warranty
A 5-Year Warranty is provided on all GROHE product finishes (except the InfinityFinishTM) to the original purchaser against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship.
InfinityFinishTM
A Lifetime Warranty is provided on all GROHE products with the InfinityFinish to the original purchaser against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. At its option, GROHE will repair or replace any part or finish that proves to be defective in material and/or workmanship under normal installation, use and service.
To obtain warranty repair or replacement the faulty part or product is to be sent along with proof-of-purchase (original sales receipt) from the original consumer purchaser to:
