How much light does this fixture provide in a downward direction, i.e., is there enough light on your face when mounted above a mirror? Is there glass in the bottom of the perforated shade?
A. The Fredrick Ramond FR51010PCM is open at the bottom and that is where most of the light will be emitted downward. The light emitted through the shade is probably not sufficient if you only have 1 of these in your bathroom but if you had 2 there would be enough.
