A. The Forte Lighting 2199-02 is designed for an enty/foyer, game room. This fixture is not specifically listed for damp or wet locations. When installing a light in a bathroom you will want to find a fixture that is rated for damp or wet locations.

Nice light, but...
We like the light but the insulation mat is visible on each of the lights - just a poor design. Also, the screws that attach the brackets for the glass to the lamp body lined-up poorly - again, design shortcoming.

purchased whole set of various sizes....look great and much better quality for a better price than at any of the big box stores. MUCH better pricing and same quality as the local expensive lighting store

looks good but
These lights look fantastic when installed. However the install process is disappointing. The clips that hold up the bowl need to be installed to the base under the fiberglass insulation, so ware gloves, no wait the screws are so small and positioned so close to the base that gloves are impossible. There is only one center screw to secure the base to the ceiling and the edges sag showing a gap with yellow insulation sticking out. I had to add 4 anchors to the ceiling to hold the edges up and make the install look professional. I ordered 7 of these lights and spent 8+ hours installing them!

Small design issue
The insulation material is too thick and the metal base plate is too thin. When fitted in, the metal plate bends out, is not flush with the ceiling and the insulation material is visible.

Great value, great look
This light and the 3-bulb version are attractive and quality fixtures. The glass does have swirls in it, which are not as visible on line. Love the look as bedroom fixtures.

just what we wanted
They do look rather plain up against our ceiling so I am thinking of something to give them a little pizzaz--like a stenciled something or other or garland. Haven't come up with an idea yet. They fit our application perfectly. close to ceiling, diffuse the right amount of light for dining, easy to install, real nice color.

This light was a great update to the traditional bedroom ceiling fixture at a reasonable cost. Love the look of the glass.

Clean-lined, contemporary fixture
Love the look of this clean-lined fixture. The spring-loaded tension clamp for holding/releasing the glass dome makes installing/changing bulbs easier. Good value, too.

Forte Lighting, Inc. warrants its products against structural defects only, for one (1) year of shipment. Finish of our product is warranted for six (6) months after date of shipment. Products that are stored or used in extremely damp or salty air locations and / or conditions, which includes, but not limited to, intense sunlight, high winds, or acid rain, where product tends to tarnish easily, are warranted three (3) months from date of shipment. Forte Lighting, Inc. will replace, at our discretion, products that fail to operate structurally, within the warranty does not cover products that were improperly installed or those in which parts have been tampered with or changed. The compliance of our product to project specification and approval for their use is not warranted by our company.
