Wonderful fixture
Just the type of light we needed over our small table. It's a flush mount with down lighting. We have low ceilings so this was a perfect solution and provides great light, but doesn't hang below our window trim. We added decorative bulbs. Perfect!

Really Love This Fixture
After spending hours online and in stores hunting a light fixture for my kitchen to replace and ancient fixture, I finally found this light and loved it. Some reviews stated that with "Daylight" bulbs the shades took on a white appearance. I did not find that the case, but love mine anyway. Would not trade it!

Good value for money
Simple design, not fussy, reasonably priced, light downward is big, big plus.
Glass shades are amber, but if you put in daylight bulbs, they are bright white.
Wish it came in brushed nickel/chrome finish - would put one in every room of house.
Would recommend it.

Just what we needed- gives lots of light
We needed more light in our home offices. We put one in and liked it so well we bought another one. Bulbs can be changed easily and since they hang down no bugs can collect inside! We put a 20 watt (75 watt equivalent) compact fluorescent bulb in for each bulb, a total of 60 watts and we have 3 times the light we had in our old single bulb fixtures! Lighting Direct is great too, fast shipping and they give you the tracking # so you know when the package will arrive.

Elegant fixture!
Very attractive and great quality. Emits beautiful light from the linen style globes. Provides perfect lighting for my hallway which was quite dark. The globes are opaque enough that your bulbs don't show through - a pet peeve of mine. I'm very happy with this fixture!

Product meets description
Originally intended as a entrance hall fixture, this ended up as a dining room fixture. (sellers of the house told us they would be taking their hall light fixture but ended up leaving it when I already purchased this one). Pretty easy to install, my 17 y.o. son installed it in about 30 min; as others mentioned, shades are not white but rather brownish-yellow,with little dashes/streaks of white as if the light shines and creates little stars, quite pretty. Gives a lot of light for my dining area and is close enough to the cealing to make the room look taller, with moderately low ceilings. All people in our family are very tall, so I am happy with this choice - no head bumping.

Durable but dark
The light is heavy but durable. The only complaint I have is that the globes are not white as they appear in the photo; they are brownish-yellow. This darkens the fixture and gives the room a traditional library feel.

A GREAT EXPECTATION
This lighting fixture is more than I expected. The workmanship is very good. It modernized our kitchen and gave it the character that it deserves. The shipping is also very fast. Helps me meet my promised completion date to my wife.

Forte Lighting, Inc. warrants its products against structural defects only, for one (1) year of shipment. Finish of our product is warranted for six (6) months after date of shipment. Products that are stored or used in extremely damp or salty air locations and / or conditions, which includes, but not limited to, intense sunlight, high winds, or acid rain, where product tends to tarnish easily, are warranted three (3) months from date of shipment. Forte Lighting, Inc. will replace, at our discretion, products that fail to operate structurally, within the warranty does not cover products that were improperly installed or those in which parts have been tampered with or changed. The compliance of our product to project specification and approval for their use is not warranted by our company. Product sold as “Discontinued” or “Close-Out”, is not warranted by our company and is not returnable.
Forte Lighting, Inc. will not be responsible or liable to buyer, its’ agents employees, or any third party for cost incurred in the removal or reinstallation of any incidental damages resulting in loss of use, loss of revenue. Loss or profit, arising out of, or in connection with natural disaster, catastrophe, fault or negligence of the user or any third party, including without limitation, shipping and / or damage.
