beautiful, quiet and really moves the air
The one thing we were concerned about that you just can't tell from looking at it online is how quiet it will be. We were narrow minded in our search thinking that for a quiet fan you had to get Casablanca, period. But if you read about the history of Fanimation, their history and apparantly the founder's training is rooted at Casablanca. Ours is completely quiet, and it really moves the air (pay attention to the airflow, the airflow/wattage ratio, and the angle of the blades!). The 20 degree pitch was perfect. We got our fan with the 26 inch mango leaf blades and it is gorgeous. The uplight was also a pleasant surprise in the mood-setting category.
The only reason I rated it 4 instead of 5 stars is that we wanted to hard-wire it into a wall switch and were disappointed to find insufficient wires coming from the fan to do so. We have to use the remote with a radio transmitter as the wiring for the fan and the light is not separate. It seems like a lot of fans are this way now, so if you really like it, don't let that discourage you. We are perfectly happy anyway.
