  • Can this fan be controlled by a wall switch? Our current fan works off of a sliding switch on the wall where you can pick speeds from 1-4.

  • Can this fan be mounted on a 6.5" beam? How wide is the canopy or housing of the motor?

    A. The Fanimation FP8050SN has a mounting canopy of 5.52" So yes, this fan will work with a 6.5" beam. Thank you!

  • is it necessary to buy the parts to control the Quattro by a wall switch separately? I read this in a review elsewhere.?

    A. The Fanimation FP8050SN comes with a hand held remote control, but if you want a wall control, you would need the Fanimation C25, which is sold separately.

  • can i get a 2' or 4' down rod

    A. The Fanimation FP8050SN : comes with a 4.5 inch down rod-we could order you another of the same length but going down to 4' would be tough. Please give me a call and I will see about a replacement rod of 4.5.
