  • Would you recommend this fan with a 6" downrod for a room with an 8ft. ceiling height?

    A. The Fanimation FP7900OB has a height of 15" and with a 6" down rod and 8ft ceiling; I think it would too low for that height of ceiling. I recommend getting a hugger/flush mount fan.

  • Will this fan get lost in a 22ft ceiling? What about two fans?

    A. If you purchase additional downrods with this fan and lower it a bit I do not think it would get lost with a 22ft ceiling, especially if you put two in. We have 12", 18", 24" & 36" downrods in many different finish options.

  • can the downrod be cut to 3"? i love the design but would like it just a little higher up

    A. I would not recommend cutting the downrod due to the treading of the rod. The comes with a 6" downrod.

    A. The Fanimation FP7900OB is UL listed for dry locations. It is not intended to be put in wet or damp areas.
