  • Is the shade across the top and the bottom of the light too or does the shade go over the top of the bulb only with the top and bottom open? How much unshaded light is there? Can you see the bulb from the top or bottom or both?

    A. The Eurofase Lighting BR-6DAK is only open along the top of the fixture. Because the glass is curved and there is a backplate, there is no more than 1" thickness of open shade.

    A. The Eurofase Lighting BR-6DAK can be used with a dimmer. Halogen bulbs do run hotter than most but the fixture is rated for the heat they give off.
