Will this fan work with a 6-7 feet downroad? is it good for a two story livingroom?

A. The Ellington Fans GAL52BC4LKRC will work with a 6' downrod. The longest down rod Ellington makes is 72" (6 feet). It is the DR172 and you will want to order Brushed Chrome.
