Glass was more white than blue as shown. January 6, 2011
It's okay I bought the mela mini pendant light. Although I love the design of the globe the rest has a lot to be desired. I am not crazy about the wire within the plastic that it hangs from. It's not straight. And the globe is crooked on the fixture. Need to turn it a certain way so it looks straighter. I had to return my first one and thought the uneven globe was only for that one. Not the case. Also, the light and fixture become extremely hot. Had to go and find the smalled fluorescent light I could to keep the brightness but heat to a minimum. The only problem, the bulb sticks out of the bottom slightly. Am living with it, for I feel the other bulbs are unsafe. Also Elk was not the best company to deal with on the return. Lighting Direct was great. No complaints there. November 10, 2008
warm and lovely i got espresso - it's stunning. it came quickly (though 2 lamps each with different a cord; the correct replacement was sent very quickly). they are petite, simple and striking. i'm very satisfied. May 31, 2008
