  • Shower Trim With Lens Available?

    A. The Elco EL7RICA is a remodel IC housing. This is not a shower trim. Let me know if you need helping finding one.

  • I tried using a similar product from Halo Lighting (H7RICT). Could not get the 4 clips on the can to stay in place, thus securing the fixture flush with the ceiling. The clips would not snap into place, and the fixture simply fell out of the hole. How does Elco solve this problem?

    A. Housings and trims have a few differen't types of items used to connect the pieces together. Some use a typ of clip that is called a grip finger that looks like a v. Others use Torsion springs. It sounds possibly that the trim you have is not designed to go with the style of the housing. If the items use a different type of clip or spring they will not be compatible. As far as housings go Elco is a very reputable company and know what their doing when producing their items.
