A. The Elco EL12 is made out of metal except the white Lexan Ring which is made of a material better than plastic and is only available in white, the rest are all metal.

A. The Elco EL12 does require housing, this is just the trim.

The opening is 7" Wil the EL 12 work? If not, do you have something that will work? I am looking for oil rubbed bronze trim.

A. The Elco EL12 will work just fine if your opening is 7". The outside diameter is 8" on the trim of this fixture and the light itself is 6" across so it would work just fine.
