  • What is a fresnel glass lens and how much light does it let through? We are trying to get more light into a dark hall that has a similar fixture with corrugated glass that does not let much light through

    A. The Elco EL11W has a fresnel glass lens that is a ripple glass diffuser with the cylindrical design. It doesn't diffuse the light as much as a frosted piece of glass because its clear. I hope this helps.

  • I just received an Elco EL11 & much to my surprise, it's too small. The old Kirin trim is 10" square. Is there such an animal in any brand?

    A. The Elco EL11W does not come in a 10" model.
