    A. The Designers Fountain PH218Sdoes have a disable feature. If you toggle the wall-switch off and on quickly twice, it will disable the motion detecting for eight hours after which time it will reset.

    A. There are very similar lights for sale that do NOT have a motion detector. These lights will stay on whenever the power is ON. You might consider the Designers fountian 2994 (bk or wh), Q102s, or the Yosemite HE3002.

  • We are trying to put 4 of these lights on 1 side of the house, operated by 1 switch. Is that possible?

    A. The Designers Fountain PH218S can be all on the same switch, it is all about how they are wired. You will want to talk to an electrician to see what needs to be done for your personal electrical wiring.

  • Does it have to be used with a switch?

    A. The Designers Fountain PH218S is a motion detection light. When the power is on to the light the light will engage(turn on) when it detects motion. If you use a switch you can turn the light off (such as in the day time) but you can install the light on a continuous current (without a switch) if you wish.

  • i would like to use this light over a back porch, where at times we would like it to stay continuously on, and at other times, it would only come on due to motion. when we turn this on, will it stay on, fir a certain amount of time?

    A. The Designers Fountain PH218S has three different time settings. You can select 1,5 or 10 minutes.

DEFECTS / LIMITED WARRANTY

With the exception of certain series or model numbers which are specifically excluded from the tarnishing warranty and are specified on Designers Fountain’s current price list, Designers Fountain warrants the structure of it products only against defects for one year from date of invoice, tarnishing for six months from date of invoice, and this warranty is ineffective against improper installation and usage or abnormal conditions. Designers Fountain warrants for three months products stored or used in extremely damp areas or areas under abnormal weather conditions, including but not limited to high winds, intense direct sunlight, and acid rain, where products may tend to tarnish easily. EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY STATED HEREIN, THERE ARE NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED BY OPERATION OF LAW OR OTHERWISE, PERTAINING TO THE PRODUCTS SOLD UNDER THIS AGREEMENT. DESIGNERS FOUNTAIN DISCLAIMS ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
