  • If the light is solar powered, why does it need to be wired to a power source?

    A. The Designers Fountain P272S is not solar powered. The solar tracking feature is a different version of dusk to dawn, but instead of waiting for dusk for the light to turn on, you can adjust the fixture to turn on at specified times.

  • My current lights will not work after rain and in order to change the bulb is impossible due to the extremley small screws and the high amount of torque required. Is the P272S different?

    A. The Designers Fountain P272S should still work after it rains, and the bulbs are relatively easy to remove.

Great Flexibility This unit was easy to install, has great flexibility allowing for aiming the device (lights and sensing unit separately if desired) how you want it in addition to multiple options for controlling when the lights turn on. The ability to manually adjust the angle of the sensing area to one side or the other is a great feature. My unit came with 100w light bulbs which was a pleasant surprise. September 29, 2011
Low level accent light is really nice. The low level accent light and the solar tracking makes this a really nice unit. They should have included the bulbs. Most of the other halogen flood light include the bulbs. July 10, 2010

DEFECTS / LIMITED WARRANTY

With the exception of certain series or model numbers which are specifically excluded from the tarnishing warranty and are specified on Designers Fountain’s current price list, Designers Fountain warrants the structure of it products only against defects for one year from date of invoice, tarnishing for six months from date of invoice, and this warranty is ineffective against improper installation and usage or abnormal conditions. Designers Fountain warrants for three months products stored or used in extremely damp areas or areas under abnormal weather conditions, including but not limited to high winds, intense direct sunlight, and acid rain, where products may tend to tarnish easily. EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY STATED HEREIN, THERE ARE NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED BY OPERATION OF LAW OR OTHERWISE, PERTAINING TO THE PRODUCTS SOLD UNDER THIS AGREEMENT. DESIGNERS FOUNTAIN DISCLAIMS ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
