  • can photocell be disabled or turned off ? as we are thinking about putting them inside a log home

    A. The Designers Fountain ES2381 does have a photocell. You can not Uninstall a photocell when it is part of the light's design, but you can paint over it which would effectivly disabling the photocell. The photocell would not be able to sense light and therefore never cut off the power to the light.

  • I have an over hang and will the light still come on?

    A. Thanks for the question. The Designers Fountain ES2381, if installed under an over hang, will affect the photocell. The photocell does clearance it cannot be completely covered. Let me know if you need anything else.

  • Could you tell me the dimensions of the back plate that goes against the house

    A. The backplate measures 4.5"w x 10"h

  • I live on the Oregon coast, where there is lots of rain, wind, and salt. What material (cast aluminum or other) would last the longest in this environment? Thanks!

    A. The Designers Fountain ES2381 is finished with a very high quality paint which should rust or fade with coastal weather conditions.

  • Where is the center ot the mounting point in relation to the Height of the fixture? ES2381-AM-ORB Is 16.25 inches tall is I want to center it in a detail on the finish of a house I need to know the mounting point.

    A. The Designers Fountain ES2381 center mounting point is 4 1/2 inches from mounting point to the to of the fixture.

Love these lights I can't believe how much I love these lights. Not only do they look great, they function (photocell - dusk to dawn) great. Every time I drive up to my house at night I smile at how good they look vs my neighbors. They are so well made compared to what you can buy at the big chain hardware stores. DEFECTS / LIMITED WARRANTY

With the exception of certain series or model numbers which are specifically excluded from the tarnishing warranty and are specified on Designers Fountain’s current price list, Designers Fountain warrants the structure of it products only against defects for one year from date of invoice, tarnishing for six months from date of invoice, and this warranty is ineffective against improper installation and usage or abnormal conditions. Designers Fountain warrants for three months products stored or used in extremely damp areas or areas under abnormal weather conditions, including but not limited to high winds, intense direct sunlight, and acid rain, where products may tend to tarnish easily. EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY STATED HEREIN, THERE ARE NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED BY OPERATION OF LAW OR OTHERWISE, PERTAINING TO THE PRODUCTS SOLD UNDER THIS AGREEMENT. DESIGNERS FOUNTAIN DISCLAIMS ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
