    A. The Designers Fountain ES2371 Transitional Single Light Down Lighting Energy Star Outdoor Wall Sconce from the Sedona Collection uses a GU24 bulb which actually performs well in cold weather. The GU24 bulb works well in temperatures down to 20 below zero Fahrenheit.

  • Does the flouro bulb give off light that is too white (cool)?

    A. The Designers Fountain ES2371 fluorescent bulb will give off an off white light but that will be altered by the shade to illuminate an even darker color. It all depends on if you buy a clear or frosted bulb as well.

Nice addition to our home remodel! These fixtures are a nice change from the old fixtures we replaced. Like that it is possible to disable the photo cell feature. The only reason we did not give all 5 stars is because we had to make adjustments so the fixture would be flush against the house. Since this was not new construction, we had to add a flat panel and attach it to the house and then install the fixture.We have purchased from LightingDirect multiple times and have been happy with the variety of product choices, price, and customer service. There was one instance where a product was defective and customer service immediately took care of the problem. We were very impressed with them keeping us posted throughout the return process. We will definitely purchase from LightingDirect again. November 5, 2011
Love it This is the second one that I purchased, the first one seemed a little too big for the entryway of my home, so I used it above the garage and purchased this smaller one for the entryway. They both look so nice and gives my home a modern look. I am really satisfied with the product. September 28, 2010
Classic Style If I didn't first see this in a local lighting store I may have passed it up. It looks great on the house and my energy efficient bulbs don't show through the glass. Easy to change the bulb and no nuts to lose! June 1, 2009

DEFECTS / LIMITED WARRANTY

With the exception of certain series or model numbers which are specifically excluded from the tarnishing warranty and are specified on Designers Fountain’s current price list, Designers Fountain warrants the structure of it products only against defects for one year from date of invoice, tarnishing for six months from date of invoice, and this warranty is ineffective against improper installation and usage or abnormal conditions. Designers Fountain warrants for three months products stored or used in extremely damp areas or areas under abnormal weather conditions, including but not limited to high winds, intense direct sunlight, and acid rain, where products may tend to tarnish easily. EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY STATED HEREIN, THERE ARE NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED BY OPERATION OF LAW OR OTHERWISE, PERTAINING TO THE PRODUCTS SOLD UNDER THIS AGREEMENT. DESIGNERS FOUNTAIN DISCLAIMS ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
