Delta T18255-XO Delta Smart Features

  • H2Okinetic Technology: creates a warmer, more luxurious shower experience while using less water. Delta H2O Kinetic Showers utilize larger water droplets that retain heat longer for a massaging effect and a denser spray pattern for a feeling of drenching coverage. They are also more quiet than conventional showers and use no moving parts. Water savings can be substantial; 1.5 gallons per minute delivered via H2O Kinetic Body Sprays or Showerheads feels like 2.5 gallons per minute. This can result in a 36% decrease in water usage compared to high-flow systems.
  • MultiChoice Universal Valve: Flexibility is the big benefit of the MultiChoice Universal Valve. Once the MultiChoice rough is installed, future shower function upgrades or style changes can easily be made without altering the plumbing behind the wall.
  • With Volume Control: This Smart Feature provides separate controls for the temperature and volume, allowing you to set the temperature and keep it consistent shower after shower.
  • Monitor Pressure Balance Valve: Delta Monitor faucets feature pressure balance valves, which protect against sudden temperature or pressure changes to keep the water in the shower within a safe +/- 3°F. Monitor valves also feature an adjustable high-temperature limit stop that when properly set helps ensure the handle cannot be turned to a position that is too hot for comfort (May require seasonal adjustment).
  • Touch Clean: Only Delta faucets are equipped with Touch-Clean soft, rubber nubbins that allow you to easily wipe away calcium and lime build-up with the touch of a finger.

  • we need washers for this faucet do you carry them

    A. Assuming you need a washer for the Delta T18255-XO because it's leaking, then it will be Part No. RP46073 and that's the adapter assembly that includes the 2 seats and springs, quad seals and the adapter. If you want the entire cartridge assembly that is Part No. RP46463.

  • How do I add a hand held shower head to this, will the diverter on this system allow me to select between regular shower head, body jets, and hand held head

    A. The Delta T18255-XO uses the R18222-XO rough in valve, and if you go to our site, pop in the valve model number into our search box, you'll see a clear picture of the valve, which might help to understand how it functions. To answer your question, though, yes, this valve allows you add a third outlet for water, such as a hand shower. Take a look at Delta 57021. This would be a typical handshower setup, but note, you'll need to purchase what's called a wall elbow. This is the trim piece that covers the port and the shower hose screws into. See the Delta 50560. With the Delta T18255-XO trim, R18222-XO rough in valve, 57021 handshower system, and the 50560 elbow, you'll have everything you need. The only thing left would be to ensure your plumber installs the additional port for the handshower.

    A. Difference between a valve and a valve with stops is that the valve with stops has a water shut off on the valve so you will not have to turn the water off to your whole house once the rough in valve is installed to make any changes to your shower.

With Delta® Faucet Company, you can be sure you're getting products of the highest quality.

All parts and finishes of the Delta faucet are warranted to the original consumer purchaser to be free from defects in material and workmanship for as long as the original consumer purchaser owns their home. Delta recommends using a professional plumber for all installation and repair. Delta will replace, FREE OF CHARGE, during the warranty period, any part or finish that proves defective in material and/or workmanship under normal installation, use and service.

This warranty is extensive in that it covers replacement of all defective parts and even finish, but these are the only two things that are covered.

Labor charges and/or damage incurred in installation, repair, or replacement, as well as any other kind of loss or damage are excluded.

Proof of purchase (original sales receipt) from the original consumer purchaser must be made available to Delta for all warranty claims.

This is the exclusive warranty by delta faucet company, which does not make any other warranty of any kind, including the implied warranty of merchantability.

This warranty excludes all industrial, commercial and business usage, of faucets whose purchasers are hereby extended a five-year limited warranty from the date of purchase, with all other terms of this warranty applying except the duration of the warranty. This warranty is applicable only to Delta faucets manufactured after January 1, 1995.

Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. Any damages to this faucet as a result of misuse, abuse, or neglect or any use of other than genuine Delta replacement parts WILL VOID THE WARRANTY. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
