Product Technologies:
- Monitor: Delta Monitor showers feature pressure balance valve cartridges, which protect against sudden temperature or pressure changes to keep the water in the shower within a safe +/- 3°F. Monitor valves also feature a high-temperature limit stop that can be adjusted to suit your shower needs.
- Touch Clean: Only Delta offers showers equipped with Touch Clean soft, rubber nubbins (spray holes) that allow you to easily wipe away calcium and lime build-up with the touch of a finger. This is particularly helpful for areas with hard water.
- MultiChoice Valve: Flexibility is the big benefit of the MultiChoice Universal Valve. Once the MultiChoice rough is installed, future shower function upgrades or style changes can easily be made without altering the plumbing behind the wall.

Can this be installed as a ceiling mounted showerhead? If so, does Delta sell the straight arm to use for mounting?
A. Yes, the showerhead from trim kit T14253, can be installed as ceiling mounted showerhead. The shower arm however as you may have guessed cannot be used when installing in this manner. Delta does offer shower arm replacements for Ceiling Mount applications. Delta RP48986 is a 10" arm and Delta RP61058 is a 6" arm and both can be found on our site.

Is the rough in valve required?

I saw that there are different rough-in valve models to be used with this shower, what are the difference and what is the recommended model?
A. The Delta T14253 is compatible with many different valves. The R10000-IP is the 'Iron Pipe' version for threaded connections. The 'WS' refers to screwdriver stops, meaning you can shut the water off to the showerhead at the valve with a screwdriver. The R10000-PX is the 'Pex Pipe' version of the valve for Pex connections. The R10000-UN is the universal connections, meaning either pipe can connect to the valve. The R10000-UNBXT is a universal valve for thin wall installation. The R10000-UNWSHF is a universal valve with screwdriver stops and has a higher flow rate.

All parts and finishes of the Delta faucet are warranted to the original consumer purchaser to be free from defects in material and workmanship for as long as the original consumer purchaser owns their home. Delta recommends using a professional plumber for all installation and repair. Delta will replace, FREE OF CHARGE, during the warranty period, any part or finish that proves defective in material and/or workmanship under normal installation, use and service.
