  • Can this light be used on a column rather than a post? Other post lights I've reviewed have an adapter for column use.

    A. The Craftmade Z3725 has a pier mount bottom Z200.

  • Is there glass thats available that is not seeded? like regular clear glass. If not, do you know where I can buy it?

    A. The Craftmade Z3725 is only available with the seeded glass. We do not have one with the clear glass.

  • I have a post/column with 8" square FLAT base. Can it be mounted directly to that?

    A. It just depends on the diameter of the post. Usually standard fittings are 3".

  • What is the lamp made of? Metal or plastic? And color?

    A. This fixture is made of cast aluminum with glass. The finish is oiled bronze which is a very dark almost black tone.

  • What is a pier mount bottom Z200? I want to mount this light on a column - is the Z200 an adaptor to do that?

    A. The Craftmade Z200 is a pier mount that is made for item Z3725 to be attached to. This is what you would use to set on top of a column.

  • Is the z200 an adaptor to mount light on a column?

    A. Correct, the Craftmade Z200 is a pier mount so that unit Z3725 can attach to it and be set up on a column or a deck, etc. Any post light can be attached to a pier mount or a post. This unit can only be attached to a 3.5" round connection.

  • Is the direct burial post by craftmade work with the craftmade Z3725 light? Previous questions suggest a 3" post and the craftmade post is 3 1/4"

    A. The Craftmade Z3725 is made to be compatible with all Craftmade Direct Burial Posts.

    A. The Craftmade Z3725 requires 1 26 watt GU24 bulb.

  • What direct burial post is compatible with this light. I would like it to be oil rubbed or black and smooth

    A. The Craftmade Z3725 is designed to be compatible with all Craftmade Direct Burial Posts. Craftmade Z8790 is a good option and comes in a smooth black.

  • Can these be used for low voltage lamps? Is there a part I would need to buy with them?

    A. The Craftmade Z3725 is a 120 volt fixture and can not be converted to a low voltage lamp.

beautiful We bought this post light and 3 wall versions. Love them. Well made & just as pretty as the picture. We like that we can use energy efficient bulbs in them and they still look gorgeous. Replacing the bulb in this post version is more difficult that the wall model (from the top, w/a couple screws), but since you can use the energy efficient bulbs we shouldn't have to do it as much. Also great customer service, researched price & was decent. Overall thought: money well spent! November 8, 2009

Warranty

Craftmade warrants against defects in materials or workmanship for a minimum of TWO (2) YEARS from date of purchase for use, and agrees to repair or, at our option, replace a defective unit without charge.

IMPORTANT: This Warranty does not cover damage resulting from accident, misuse or abuse, lack of reasonable care (as listed on the instructions), the affixing of any attachment not provided with the product, alteration of any attachments factory installed, loss of parts or subjecting the fixture to any but the specified electrical service.

This warranty does not cover failure of bulbs due to accidents, abuse, misuse, vandalism, power surges, and acts of nature such as lightning damage or any bulbs purchased separately and installed by the consumer or any damage to the fixture caused by a separately purchased bulb.

No responsibility is assumed for any special incidental or consequential damages. Damages occurring during transit are not covered by this warranty.

To obtain warranty service, mail sales receipt as proof of purchase-date, and a brief explanation of the nature of the defect, to P.O. Box 1037, Coppell, TX 75019. You will receive, by mail, a Return Goods Authorization number issued by Craftmade, and returned freight prepaid.
