Can you control the fan and the light separately with a wall switch (without the remote), can you increase the downligt wattage to 100W each ?
A. The Craftmade Midoro can be wall controlled with an optional wall controller (TCS-WALL) that is available for purchase when you add the fan to your cart. Unfortunately, the lighting kit supplied with the fan is not alterable, so you're limited to two 60W bulbs in the down light position.

We need a 24" downrod. Is this included? Also, if you use CF bulbs, can they be brighter than the 60 watt equivalent?

Great looking fan
I gave this a 4 out of 5 due to the poor installation instructions. If I followed all the steps, several pieces would have been left out. I had to un-assemble several steps to add the missing piece. Balancing the fan was also a challenge. Love the look. Love the remote and dimmer functions for the lights.

DIfficult installation
I love the look of this fan. Fits in with our decor perfectly. However it took my husband and I 5 hrs to install it. This is our 6th fan installation so we are pretty experienced. The instructions are terrible. The order of instructions are completely wrong. It you have never installed fans before I would not recommend that this be your first. The screws are also very cheap and strip VERY easily. My husband took 1 hours to unscrew a factory pre-tightened screw that should be loose.... Thankfully the end product looks nice but I would not buy this brand again.

Fan
The fan was listed as in stock when I ordered it, however, I was notified the following day that it was on back order. It took about 1 month to get it. It arrived in perfect condition. The electrician installed it, however, my husband will need to use the enclosed balancing kit bc it wobbles. The motor is very quiet. The lights could be brighter. Love the style, high end look for a moderate price.

Craftmade Midoro Indoor Ceiling Fan
This is a high qualtit unit. I have received several compliments on the appearance (I purchased the oiled brass color). The fan is very quiet and effective. However, the amount of light is limited - barely adequate. Otherwise, this is a very fine unit.

This warranty does not cover failure of bulbs due to accidents, abuse, misuse, vandalism, power surges, and acts of nature such as lightning damage or any bulbs purchased separately and installed by the consumer or any damage to the fixture caused by a separately purchased bulb.
No responsibility is assumed for any special incidental or consequential damages. Damages occurring during transit are not covered by this warranty.
To obtain warranty service, mail sales receipt as proof of purchase-date, and a brief explanation of the nature of the defect, to P.O. Box 1037, Coppell, TX 75019. You will receive, by mail, a Return Goods Authorization number issued by Craftmade, and returned freight prepaid.
