Very nice but. . .
This is a very nice looking fan. Much better than your basic fan look, but a few things to caution you on- 1) it does not come with the extension pole so if you need one you will need to call Lighting Direct and order (you can't find it on line) and 2) it doesn't give off us much light as I would have liked. Otherwise I really like it.

Allows you to customize
For this Craftmade fan, the blades were sold separately. A little bit of a pain and extra expense, but it allows you to customize the fan. It was not the easiest to install as the instructions did not include the light kit. But it looks great and it is different from what you see in every store.

Great Quality for the Price
I have ordered several items from Lighting Direct and I'm always amazed at how great the quality is for the price. We have done several lower-budget remodels and the items I have purchased from Lighting Direct give them the "higher-end" look. I've never been disappointed when I've purchased products from here.

Great Fan
I love this fan
the color is so pretty I chose the antique white fan with matching blades. the motor is very pretty as it has a sculptured lacy effect it is not flimsy at all.
it has some touches of bronze that match my other lights in the house. IT also matches my furniture. It goes nicely with my cottage look.
My only complaint is that the glass globe is a bit dark (to match the bronze) and hinders a bit of the light. it is more of a soft light verses a bright light.
I would not count on the light from this fan to light a room to read in. other thatn that it is beautiful.

Craftmade warrants against defects in materials or workmanship for a minimum of TWO (2) YEARS from date of purchase for use, and agrees to repair or, at our option, replace a defective unit without charge.
IMPORTANT: This Warranty does not cover damage resulting from accident, misuse or abuse, lack of reasonable care (as listed on the instructions), the affixing of any attachment not provided with the product, alteration of any attachments factory installed, loss of parts or subjecting the fixture to any but the specified electrical service.
This warranty does not cover failure of bulbs due to accidents, abuse, misuse, vandalism, power surges, and acts of nature such as lightning damage or any bulbs purchased separately and installed by the consumer or any damage to the fixture caused by a separately purchased bulb.
No responsibility is assumed for any special incidental or consequential damages. Damages occurring during transit are not covered by this warranty.
To obtain warranty service, mail sales receipt as proof of purchase-date, and a brief explanation of the nature of the defect, to P.O. Box 1037, Coppell, TX 75019. You will receive, by mail, a Return Goods Authorization number issued by Craftmade, and returned freight prepaid.
