    A. If you order the Craftmade Civic Unipack ceiling fan in the Brushed Nickel finish, the blades will be Cherry. If you order the fan in the Oiled Bronze finish, the blades will be Oiled Bronze.

  • Will this fan work on a slanted ceiling, ie, does it have a swivel mount? Can I purchase a 36" downrod?

    A. To make the Craftmade Civic Unipack swivel you would need a Craftmade 45AD. This will make it so that you can swivel 45 degrees. The 36" craftmade downrod is Craftmade DR36.

  • Can this fan operate from a wall mount controller? Which one? Can the handheld also be combined?

    A. The Craftmade Civic Unipack operates on a universal remote system called the UC-2000-4. You can also order the wall mount version of this remote, but you will have to order the receiver as well, item # UC-2000-3.

    A. Hello, The Craftmade Civic Unipack unfortunately should not exceed the wattage of (2) 40w candelabra bulbs as this is the maximum the fixture takes.

Excellent Fan for the money Fan is very well made, solid. The globe is glass, not plastic as others have commented. At least, mine is glass. Quiet, smooth operation and balanced without having to weight any of the blades. May 2, 2011
Good fan We chose this fan because it has color and style we like, including an enclosed simple light, and it has NO remote control. We prefer a wall switch. The fan was easy enough to install and it works well with a Lutron Skylark wall switch (variable fan speed and light dimmer combination). The fan is quiet and is well balanced. April 23, 2011

Well worth the money Ordered the oil bronze finish. Color was just what I wanted. Easy installation (bulbs were included). Fan is quiet, and looks great in the room. Overall...Very Pleased Easy transaction and good communication. Fan arrived quickly. Installation was simple except for the light kit. There are too many wires crammed into the small housing and was extremely difficult to secure the light fixture. The fan stopped working after 30 minutes. I cut off the power to the fan double checked all (my) wire connections, then reversed the motor and the fan attempted to turn. I repeated the process and the fan operated normally, forward and reverse, and has operated correctly ever since. I don't know what could have caused the problem initially. December 18, 2010

Craftmade warrants against defects in materials or workmanship for a minimum of TWO (2) YEARS from date of purchase for use, and agrees to repair or, at our option, replace a defective unit without charge.

IMPORTANT: This Warranty does not cover damage resulting from accident, misuse or abuse, lack of reasonable care (as listed on the instructions), the affixing of any attachment not provided with the product, alteration of any attachments factory installed, loss of parts or subjecting the fixture to any but the specified electrical service.

This warranty does not cover failure of bulbs due to accidents, abuse, misuse, vandalism, power surges, and acts of nature such as lightning damage or any bulbs purchased separately and installed by the consumer or any damage to the fixture caused by a separately purchased bulb.

No responsibility is assumed for any special incidental or consequential damages. Damages occurring during transit are not covered by this warranty.

To obtain warranty service, mail sales receipt as proof of purchase-date, and a brief explanation of the nature of the defect, to P.O. Box 1037, Coppell, TX 75019. You will receive, by mail, a Return Goods Authorization number issued by Craftmade, and returned freight prepaid.
