I am interested in purchasing this for a 2-story foyer and was wondering how long (with extensions) this piece hangs? Ideally, we would need it to hang about 8-10 ft from the ceiling.

We just purchased the four light large hanging pendants for our home and find that the amber glow from the cylinder is not bright enough to illuminate the area in which we've hung them...are there different coloured cylinders available? And if so, how much would they cost??

stunning fixture but not enough light
We got the medium fixture in the dark bronze color for our breezeway entrance. It is a stunning fixture that gets LOTS of compliments. However -- the dark version has a thick yellow plastic diffuser that encases the bulbs, and it gives off a very diminished, very yellow light. I have ordered (at extra cost), the white diffuser from the silver/white version and I'm hoping that replacing the diffuser with the lighter one will give me better light from this fixture. If it does, I'd raise the rating to a 4 - 5, because I do love the look of it.
