almost perfect
Along with the other reviewers, I too needed a lamp that was offset to fit behind my couch, which this one does. I love how the light reflects some light upward for a warm glow on the wall. It is a little top heavy but because I have it behind & under the couch I was able to put something underneath the base to balance it so it doesn't lean forward anymore.

Pretty but crooked
I love the look of my new lamp. It's the exact shape & design I've been searchng for. I needed an offset base for the corner it was going in with a sofa in front of it. However It will not stand up straight. I followed the directions for set up carefully.I've assembled furniture many itmes before, so I'm capable of the basic mechanics. I knew it was not secure at the time, but needed it in place. Now I need to move the furniture away, ask someone else for help & start over.
