  • What is the shade diameter at top and bottom? What is the shade length? What color is the shade?

    A. The shade on the Cal Lighting BO-216 lamp measure 6" at the top, 19" on the bottom, and 12" down the side. Depending on which finish you get, there will be a different shade. The Rust finish comes with a dark beige shade. The Brushed Steel comes with an off-white shade. The Dark Bronze and Antique Brass come with an off-white, side pleated shade.

  • How shiny is the brushed steel finish?

    A. The brushed steel finish on the Cal Lighting BO-216 won't be shiny, it will be more like a stainless steel finish, which is more of a matte finish versus a polished finish.

    A. The Cal Lighting BO-216's shade rest above the bulb sitting on the hearth. This is the only shade available for purchase with this lamp. You can buy any shade to go with the lamp, but will just have to purchase them separately.

Great Design-Excellent Value This is a very handsome floor lamp that sheds great light for reading. Having the adjustable swivel arm makes it the perfect lamp for placing between my comfortable reading chair and my bed. The manufacturer's packaging of the lampshade was deplorable; a mere 4 sheets of newspaper! Thusly, it arrived damaged. But, be assured Lighting Direct (LD) had a replacement shade delivered to me within a week without any hassle. LD also gets 5 stars!!! October 25, 2010
