Contemporary / Modern Diode 28 LED Under Cabinet Light

The Diode28 LED undercabinet light is the latest advancement in undercabinet lighting. LEDs have a long life span 50,000+ hours, use only 5W of power and produce very little heat. Light output is equivalent to one 13W T5 lamp or 3 20W line voltage Halogen lamps. No remote power supply needed. This unit is wired with a UL listed electronic circuit board containing 28 individual 1/4 watt LEDs for 120V/60 Hz AC operation. It has a three position illuminated push button switch for full or half light output. Extended fixture width allows for wide, even light distribution. The included 5 foot cord plugs directly into 120V outlet-cord included. It can be connected end to end with the included direct connector. Connect up to 20 fixtures with 12" modular cord-included. Hardwire connection can be done through optional hardwire box.

Outstanding Undercabinet Lighting When we bought our downtown loft, the lighting in general was very dim ... and very quirky -- full of a mishmash of "trendy" track lighting that not only had become out-of-fashion, but cast very poor light. We had a lot of electrical work to do! One area that had no lighting at all was the kitchen countertop area. Our decorator suggested these LED lights in a nearly solid chain under the cabinets, as well as a similar chain on top of the cabinets. Individually these would not provide much light but in a bank they are just outstanding, and they last forever with very low power usage. The ones on top of the cabinets cast an attractive mood lighting on the upper wall and ceiling. A good purchase. September 19, 2010
