  • Can a dimmer be used with this ficture?

    A. The Alico Lighting BV713-10 uses halogen bulbs. A dimmer can be used, but it is not recommeneded with Halogen bulbs because the bulbs tend to burn out more quickly. If you do use a dimmer, you will to make sure you use a dimmer meant for halogen bulbs.

  • Can this be mounted both horizontally & vertically? Is it suitable for bath location?

    A. The Alico Lighting BV713-10 can be installed vertically or horizontally. This unit is suitable for the bathroom.

  • How do I replace the bulb? My contractor disposed of the instructions

    A. The Alico Lighting BV713-10 light bulbs are changed by pulling off the glass as the glass slides and access the bulbs.

  • Does the Pannelli collection have a diffuser "underneath" as the Pandora collection does?

    A. The Alico Lighting BV713-10 does not have a bottom diffuser.

  • do the bulbs point up or down?

    A. Thank you for your question! The bulbs seem to point straight out and it is ambient lighting.

    A. The Alico Lighting BV713-10 is not recommended to be mounted on a ceiling.

modern, clean, classy After an exhausting 6 month search for a bathroom light bar online and in brick and mortars turning up nothing we liked we came across this one. It was a risk ordering such a tactile product online but with a price at least $200 below budget and a terrific return policy we couldn't refuse. I was so pleasantly surprised at the high quality and attractive looks of this fixture. The simple, clean lines and opaque shades over a beautiful warm yellow light lend the perfect unfussy finishing touch to our new modern bathroom. I was concerned that you'd be able to see the bulbs since there is no bottom under the shade and you can only if you stand directly underneath it. Otherwise it is perfect. We received the item swiftly and when it arrived one of the glass shades was slightly mis-shaped so I called Lighting Direct and they arranged for another to be shipped out right away. Incidentally they sent us 3 more! Terrific product, terrific customer service, terrific experience. A rare pleasure in today's retail world. June 18, 2011
