Finally found a good window exhaust fan. We had one years ago, and could get by most of the time without the air conditioner at night. Now we can do that again!! Quieter than the table top fan, and the window AC. Very good product. July 10, 2011

Keeps us comfortable This fan does a good job of exchanging the air in an 800 sq ft apartment. It has enabled me to not have to buy an air conditioner even though the temperature has been in the 90s and 100s. The only demerit is that the installation method does not go with the material of the window frames in the apartment. Venting Direct had faster shipping than other web options and it was the same total price. August 13, 2010
Plastic fest, but workable This fan is an festival of plastic; the fan blades, the control knob housing. Not that it isn't entirely expected, but this fan is a bright white display of cost-saving manufacturing. The obvious lesson: if the description doesn't say metal blades, you won't get metal (I'm still unsure where to buy a fan of this size with metal blades). The effect is that, at the same power, this fan will simply move less air than one equipped with metal blades. Still, it works, but I have to run it at the max setting more often than I expected. Good Fan This is a good fan, much more powerful than regular window fans, or standing fans, however it is not powerful enough to combat 90+ degree days. Our house is 850 sq ft. and I don't feel the draw I was expecting and we can't rely on it to replace AC on hot days. Although not nearly as powerful as the old, unfailing window fan that my grandparents use (25+ yrs old) to cool their 2000 sq ft home, it fits our small window and is really our only option since we don't have attic access or room for anything larger. So with those considerations in mind it is perfect for our situation. July 23, 2010
Excellent ventilation option This fan is well conceived and moves a lot of air quietly. The quiet is due to the large blades that can turn slowly while taking a deep bite. This is much better than small fans that must turn much faster to generate the same flow volume. This makes it a great solution for the living areas of a house. A lot of the key parts are plastic which should provide protection against corrosion and the size will fit into most windows. This fan was purchased as part of a testing protocol for a new product (that my company manufactures) that controls any ventilation fan automatically so that it always operates at maximum efficiency. Great house fan for a smallish house My parents had a house fan when I was a kid, and since running fans is considerably cheaper than running air conditioning, I talked my husband into getting one. I was concerned about the window size required, since our windows are not quite that big, but this was the smallest whole house fan I could find. It fit fine. The top of the plastic case goes over the window but all moving parts are in the opening. We usually run it at night and turn it off during the day to keep our second floor bedroom cool. I am very pleased; it works well and was easy to install (for two very unhandy people). Since we got it, my husband has gone from dubious that it will work to encouraging his parents to get one. Did the job I bought 2 of these fans and they were worth the price. They were quiet on slow mode but still moved enough air. The layout of the house has a big effect on whether you use the intake or exhaust. Intake worked best for us. September 28, 2009
Overpriced Plastic Fan I bought this fan with the expectation that it would provide more circulation than the standard box fan you'd buy at Home Depot. Unfortunately, I found it to be completely inadequate. The fan is completely made of plastic and flimsy in general. The power is average and the circulation is poor. I would not recommend this fan to anyone. September 16, 2009

WHAT THIS WARRANTY COVERS: This product is warranted against defects in workmanship and/or materials.

HOW LONG THIS WARRANTY LASTS: This warranty extends only to the original purchaser of the product and lasts for one (1) year from the date of original purchase or until the original purchaser of the product sells or transfers the product, whichever first occurs.

WHAT AIR KING WILL DO: During the warranty period, Air King will, at its sole option, repair or replace any part or parts that prove to be defective or replace the whole product with the same or comparable model.

WHAT THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER: This warranty does not apply if the product was damaged or failed because of accident, improper handling or operation, shipping damage, abuse, misuse, unauthorized repairs made or attempted. This warranty does not cover shipping costs for the return of products to Air King for repair or replacement. Air King will pay return shipping charges from Air King following warranty repairs or replacement.
