  • What actually does "damp rated" mean??? I want to use them in my bathroom above my sinks. My electrician never heard of it.

    A. The AF Lighting 6753-1W is rated for damp locations, which means it can be used in a area such as the bathroom. You would need a wet rating if using directly in the shower or outside. All lights are either rated for dry, wet, or damp locations.

beautiful very nice sconce and well worth the money... looks great for a larger space.., just wish the shades came in other colors August 8, 2010
Beautiful Light I thought the picture of the sconce on the web site was nice, but when I received the fixture it was prettier than in the picture and a lot bigger. For such a substantial piece, it was worth the money and lighting direct had the best price on the internet. They send a choice of two finials with the fixture. The shade looks great on the item as well, really classy. I bought the brown shade and now I want the white shade also. Great buy !! December 24, 2009
