What actually does "damp rated" mean??? I want to use them in my bathroom above my sinks. My electrician never heard of it.
A. The AF Lighting 6753-1W is rated for damp locations, which means it can be used in a area such as the bathroom. You would need a wet rating if using directly in the shower or outside. All lights are either rated for dry, wet, or damp locations.

Beautiful Light
I thought the picture of the sconce on the web site was nice, but when I received the fixture it was prettier than in the picture and a lot bigger. For such a substantial piece, it was worth the money and lighting direct had the best price on the internet. They send a choice of two finials with the fixture. The shade looks great on the item as well, really classy. I bought the brown shade and now I want the white shade also. Great buy !!
