Very high quality I was very impressed with the quality of this fixture. It greatly exceeds that of the Lowes/Home Depot offerings. The diffuser is glass and the glass is very thick so I won't have to worry about it becoming too brittle in winter. It has some sort of rubbery gaskets behind the metal enclosure to protect the wiring from the elements and behind the glass to protect the bulb. It reminds me of the high-humidity fixtures I've had to buy for use in my restaurant's walk-in coolers. I don't know that these are necessary but I'm sure they will help it last a long time. I can't tell if the nickel housing is metal or plastic. If it is plastic it's thick enough that I'm not worried about it breaking but it could be aluminum. I'm just not sure. All-in-all I am very happy with this light fixture. It looks great, the quality is second to none, and it was very reasonably priced. January 13, 2011

Warranty

Access at its sole option will repair or replace F.O.B. Access warehouse freight prepaid any Access products defective in workmanship or materials. Such replacement is the exclusive remedy against Access should any of the products delivered prove defective and is limited to one year from date of shipment. Access reserves the right to determine the best method of correcting problems. Access is not responsible for any installation charges or charge backs nor charges for labor or materials.

The warranty is not applicable to light bulbs supplied with fixtures.
